You know you're supposed to be working on research and learning about research in MET 472, but how do you do it? There is no simple definitive answer. It's a lifelong journey that you embark upon and mature through. Nobody ever has all the answers, but you should seek out what pieces of the puzzle you can learn from various people and opportunities. Learn to ask questions, to express yourself, and to think critically (in a nice way, of course).
So speak up. Enter the discussion. Get out of your comfort zone. One nice thing about blogging is that, if you ever manage to say something that you're totally ashamed of, you can always go back in and edit/remove it.
